Calling Us to Come

I was thinking in my room
About the time we’re coming to
Planet’s turning round the solar Sun
It will always be right now
Time existing here some how
And the universe is calling us to come

Astronauts and aliens
The space age and the science
The call of Jesus Christ to all the world
Glorify this planet
Making use of all we have
And the Lord will come back as we’ve seen Him go

Time and space are just the same
The universe expanding
That’s what gives us time to do our work
There’s a devil in the plan
And a grace to understand
And the night is in the shadow of the Earth

It was a long long time ago
When there came an evil foe
And we had to think up something right away
So we made the great big Bang
So that we could use the time
To overcome the evil in this way
