Living in a Movie

Product placement in a movie gives validity to a story as being in the world we live in. Eventually, products placed in movies will have thematic relevance. They will represent metaphoric value within the story. Initially, products will want to be type cast, so as to represent household purposes within our daily lives. But as product placement evolves, products will become variable imagery. And products will take on metaphoric values based on their movie set appearances. As our products take on meaning, they will become like game pieces in our own lives that develop within certain contexts. These contexts can be movies, books, magazines, internet, or social clubs. In the future there will be more distinction between virtual space and literal space because the two will become more detailed in there definitions and forms. Product usage between these two dimensions will vary. When colors are matched, or numbers, or names, you can practice magic. So when you partake of your food, you not only feed your stomach, you nourish your mind. The best way to learn variable imagery is to do all things as prayer. -Trey Forbes
