The Motivated Interest

Gently I am breathing in, The oceans of the air
And the different states of being, I am finding to be there
The next door neighbors gather, As they meet for bar-b-que
They celebrate the meaning, Of the practices they do

Around the clock of hours, Possessions keeping time
The rhythm of the money, The exchanges of the Mind

The autos and the drivers They go from lane to lane
Sorting out the traffic That they have inside their brain
And the building architecture And the mental avenues
Make the blocks of City Streets And the measure of the news

Citizens of living light From sea to shining sea
Are an economic engine With their productivity
The motivated interest And the motors of the mind
Will put the world together As the earth is Turing time
