The Living Room

I am looking for the sunshine
In the clouds of days gone by
And I’m counting all the reasons
As they float across the sky
The joy of life is something
That inspires me to build
The life that is beyond these clouds
I’m sure that it is real

And the beautiful designs
The bride is in the mirror
And the church is in my mind
Gonna build a faithful living room
In the prayers of all my friends
With the images of Heaven
And a life that never ends

I’m cleaning up my Living Room
To the music of my set
I have sent the invitations
But the wedding isn’t yet
I love you so much deeper
Than the words of show and tell
With the images of reason
And the mirrors of my hell

With a heart of expectation
And a feel for my designs
I’m looking for the future
That I’m seeing in the signs
A creative institution
A will to understand
My hope and affirmation
